Principle of Operation

DoorProtect functions by detecting the magnetic field disruption caused by the opening of a door or window. It can also be used in transmitter mode to send signals from a wired sensor to the hub. The device is composed of two modules—a detector and a magnet—with two different-sized magnets for flexible installation:

• Large Magnet: Effective up to 2 cm from the detector.
• Small Magnet: Effective up to 1 cm from the detector.
